About me

Hi all, warmly welcome to my homepage. My full name is Kong Saoane Thach. You can call me Saoane, pronounced as sɑ‧wʌn. I am an indigenous Khmer from the Mekong Delta region in Southern Vietnam (also known as Khmer Krom).

I am pursuing a Doctor of Philoshophy (PhD) in the School of Computing and Information Systems, The University of Melbourne. I am interested in exploring how aged care organisations adopt emerging technologies for social and emotional enrichment, with a focus on VR and Videoconferencing. I hold a Master's Degree in Information Systems (The University of Melbourne), a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (Tra Vinh University).
