Found a side view pic of a sleigh ornament I liked in google search, screen shot and turned the image into an svg in Adobe Capture. Took the svg and worked up sizing and pockets and created another file with the inverted image in Inkscape. Moved over to Makercam to make the code. When cutting the lower left and right corners I applied pressure (timely process )

First time using barrel nuts and bolts (made a jig that worked great) cinched it up tight! For the cross section pieces I used my table saw to save time.

Santa would like to visit all neighborhoods, he just can't fit everyone into his busy schedule but hopes to get to more neighborhoods next year. Santa will also not be able to visit with children one on one during his neighborhood tour. As Santa will be traveling in a very special sleigh, it will be important that residents remain on the sidewalk and not try to approach the vehicles.

The Head Elf will be tracking Santa Claus and his sleigh from approximately 5:00pm to 8:30pm each evening. Be sure to listen for the sirens. When you hear them, come visit Santa Claus and get a candy cane!

Santa can't fly without his sleigh and team of magical reindeer. Let your imagination soar by shopping Christmas Night Inc. for a beautifully crafted Santa sleigh and team of reindeer. Choose from traditional red designs or beautiful snow white sleighs with matching reindeer. Choose a set or purchase the sleigh and reindeer separately to customize your design. Of course, sleighs can't drive themselves, so don't forget to pick out a sitting Santa Claus to complete the look.

Now, DASHER! now, DANCER! now, PRANCER and VIXEN! On, COMET! on CUPID! on, DONNER and BLITZEN! And I know you all recall the most famous reindeer of all, which is Rudolph of course ? I found the most adorable sleigh and reindeer buttons the other day and thanks to Amazon Prime I got them in hand yesterday and immediately attached them to a crochet hat! The buttons are small (about a 1/2 inch wide) so I thought a simple single crochet baby hat would fit them best. The pattern for this 0-3 month size hat is below but you could re-create this hat using any of my basic hat patterns (Try my gingerbread hat for a HDC hat or the base of my Snow Queen Hat for a DC pattern).

I have been enjoying my tour of Org in this sleigh. I love this and such a great idea for Christmas. I never ever tire of seeing things like this in the game.

Thank you for all the little things you do to make this game special!

This design goes perfectly with my tablecloth showing Santa and his sleigh flying over rooftops, and I am so glad to have it. I made a sweet-potato loaf that came out of the pan like a dream and looked beautiful dusted with some confectioners sugar. I could not be more pleased with the Nordic Ware quality!

The sleigh is a converted 1993 Ford Aerostar that's been deemed a legitimate street vehicle by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles. It bucks the traditional reindeer power because Mullinax said it's just safer on the city streets to run a sleigh that operates as a motor vehicle.

The sleigh can be found on Main Street most Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, weather permitting. The sleigh doesn't have a roof, so Santa doesn't take it out if it's raining. This year, weather interrupted some of Santa's sleigh rides, so he said he may be back in downtown Greenville for a few nights after Christmas to make up for missed days.

The model has 959 parts, and 3/4 different builds. There's a small hideout for the villain, a nightmare monster present, Santa's sleigh, and the reindeer. It was very fun to work out the different portions of the model, and I'm very happy how this turned out. As all DreamZzz sets do, this one has an alternate model!

There's also a candy cane staff for Santa which includes the hourglass, as well as the Naughty/nice list, which has been stolen by Dark Frost. I liked the idea of the list being absurdly long, and the 2x3 tile with clips was perfect to make it work. Finally, I made a 360 video so you can see all the details, including the wreath on the back of the sleigh. (you'll have to click on the link to watch it)

Once we were happy with the shapes we cut out the outlines with a box cutter. Honestly, if I could do it over, I would try to find some kind of cardboard or heavy paper (like rosin paper) that I could cut with scissors. The cardboard we used was corrugated and super thick and it was kind of difficult to cut and the edges were pretty ragged. Nevertheless, it all turned out fine in the end. We made one template each for the sleigh, the reindeer, and the two decorative gold scrolls that attach to the sleigh sides.

We started by painting the sleigh red as it was the largest surface area. As always, remember to read the spray paint label for safety and application instructions before beginning to spray paint. And of course, always spray paint in a well-ventilated area.

Any possibility of measurements especially the reindeer? Maybe the height and length? If have sleigh that would be cool also? I am going to be Santa this

Weekend coming up so trying to make this fairly quick. Looks amazing. Going to add lights red for the rope and the nose. Maybe outline the reindeer

My friend Brandon from Maddux Woodworks recently took on a Santa sleigh commission. I think there were many more pieces to the job but the part I got involved with was just the full size sleigh. The following links may be of interest.

Wakefield, MA: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield hosted its annual Santa Sleigh Event on Friday, December 17th on Main Street in Wakefield. The Santa Sleigh event is a beloved Wakefield tradition where residents, families and children gather on Main Street to catch a glimpse of Santa in his old-fashioned sleigh guided by his 12 costumed reindeer. Santa concludes his ride at a central meeting location in Wakefield to distribute toys, clothes and gift cards to brighten the holidays for more than 90 children from 70 local families.

Founded in 1990 by Wakefield resident John Shelton and his family, the Wakefield Santa Sleigh passed through Wakefield every year through 2014 before a three-year hiatus. In 2017, another Wakefield resident, Ngan Wedemeier, revived the tradition. Wedemeier purchased the sleigh and reindeer costumes, and quickly organized a toy drive and volunteers in coordination with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wakefield & Stoneham. The Boys and Girls Clubs has been the driving force behind the last four Wakefield Santa Sleigh events, running the toy drive and organizing volunteers.

Santa's Sleigh is a float that has traditionally appeared at the end of almost every Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The float traditionally depicts Santa Claus riding on his trademark sleigh. Since the late 1970s, the float has bookended the Parade with Tom Turkey, who leads the Parade down the Parade route every year. The float was traditionally accompanied with white confetti and Red "Believe" Stars.

Santa's Sleigh was one of the very first original floats designed for the very first Macy's Christmas Parade in 1924. Much like the other floats from the time frame, the design was simple, with Santa sitting upon a mountain of snow in his sleigh with evergreen trees added discretely throughout the float. This float is also notable for being one of the only-ever floats to be horse-drawn, a practice that would be phased out throughout the 1930s and 1940s.

With the announcement of Macy's Christmas Parade returning for the 1926 holiday season, another new float depicting the fat man in the red suit was designed and crafted by the magicians at Macy's Long Island Warehouse. The float was built on the base of a flatbed truck, as Santa Claus arrived with a giant delegation of harlequins and columbines, riding in an enormous sleigh with a retinue of seven elves and a picked bodyguard of 21 Snow Men. The third Santa's Sleigh float was retired after making only one appearance.

1927 brought another brand-new Santa Claus-themed float to the Parade. The float deviated from its predecessors in that the float did not feature Santa's mystical sleigh, instead being a basic float with an over-sized, decorated Christmas tree. Surrounding Santa, who stood merrily below the tree, with many of his elves and North Pole friends.

Santa received a brand-new float in the 1934 Parade. The float depicted Santa and his whimsical reindeer flying high above the snow-topped regal Victorian-style houses, as he rode in a colossal golden sleigh. Escorting the float down the Parade route, men dressed as toy soldiers waved and smiled to the crowd.

The final Parade in 1941 before America entered World War II debuted a brand-new float themed to Santa's Christmas Eve journey around the world. Eight dancing and prancing reindeer prepare for take-off on a mountain of snow as Santa sits comfortably in his sleigh atop an ice and snow-covered mountain.

After World War II ended in May 1945, the Parade team decided that a new Santa's Sleigh float would help Americans gain a sense of normalcy after the war-stricken times for that year's procession. The float featured eight identically-sculpted reindeer, reused from the previous incarnation, landing upon a snow-covered rooftop, eager to deliver toys. Instead of sitting in his sleigh as he normally would, Santa appeared popping out of a chimney at the rear of the float.

The 1948 Parade brought with it a new floating platform to feature the superstar of the Parade, Santa Claus. The float featured Santa in a velvet-red sleigh, accented with yellow and silver garland. Pulling the sleigh are eight golden reindeer with red antlers which prance and dance with the help on an animated feature on the float. Surrounding the float are decorated trees and figures of Santa's elf helpers, who helped create the toys that are shown to be overflowing a chimney on the back of the float. This float lasted for four years until it retired in 1952. 006ab0faaa
