Participants make their own hotel reservations by contacting directly with the hotels. To facilitate the process we quote below several options. Please note that Barcelona and its environment is a very busy place, make a reservation as soon as possible to secure a pleasant lodging.
At 300 meters from the usual place of the meeting, in the heart of Sant Cugat, you can accommodate yourself at Sant Cugat Hotel (Cèsar Martinell, 2, 08172 Sant Cugat del Vallès. Tel.: +34 935 442 670). This is the place for those seeking a relaxing atmosphere steps away from the Workshop and the pedestrian-only area of Sant Cugat. It offers a 4-stars, design accommodation.
Also nearby (700m) there is a residence, perhaps more appropriate for students, of the ESADE School of business. It is nearby the monastery and at walking distance to all places in the city. Although in general full with their own students, it may be worth to try. It is called, Residència Roberto de Nobili.
At 2 km is the H2 hotel (Carrer Vic 19, less than 20 minute walking from the Monastery; which could be reached by bus too) and it is an excellent choice at a reduced price.
A bit further out you also have Qgat Hotel (Via Augusta, 51). It is located nearby a large mall. There is a bus to the city centre, and you can ask for the hotel to offer a courtesy car / shuttle.
Additionally, a bit further out but still near, you can lodge in the nice apartments of the Adagio Access (Cami Can Camps 13, 08174 Sant Cugat) or at the Holiday Inn (Cami de Can Fatjo dels Aurons, Parc Empresarial A7, Sant Cugat).

One can also lodge at reduced prices at two University Residences.
One of them is at the Barcelona Ramblas (near Plaça de Catalunya), and you can find the details at the webpages of the Residencia d’Investigadors.
The other option is to lodge at the Apartments in the Vila Universitaria of UAB (about 15 min, taking the S2 line from Bellaterra to Sant Cugat).
