Brian has been part of San Leandro High School's STEM Club for four years.
Initially invited as a freshman, he participated remotely from Arroyo High School, collaborating on coding challenges and joining a 13-hour hackathon. In his sophomore year, Brian became secretary, helping lead workshops for a mobile app startup, Rejuv, alongside a team of over 15 developers. By junior year, he became president, working with fellow president Kayla Lam to grow the club to over 30 members. Together, they started the first STEM-based tutoring at San Leandro High School, and conducted interactive passion-project workshops, uplifting numerous students in their STEM journeys.
This year, Brian put together a two cohorts of ~30 club members to work on a long-term rocketry based passion project, while uplifting student voice through this newly founded STEM-based web-publication.
