I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Information Science department at Drexel University, supervised by Dr. John S. Seberger. My research broadly investigates the ontological and sociotechnical politics of datafication.
Previously, I earned my masters in Computer Science (MSCS) from the University of Maine, USA, where I worked in the PERC_Lab and the SKAI Lab. My research there focused on semantic modeling and information architecture within the domain of digital privacy. Specifically, I developed formal, top-level ontologies to analyze how complex data practices are structurally organized and communicated within social media privacy policies, laying a rigorous technical foundation for evaluating information transparency between systems and users.
Before my MSCS, I completed my Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Bangladesh.
My doctoral research sits at the intersection of Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), critical design, and information science. I explore how sociotechnical systems shape — and are shaped by — our evolving understandings of what it means to be human. Grounded in a Posthuman design philosophy, I investigate the entangled relationships among humans, data, and design by asking: How does datafication configure epistemic agency and embodied experience within algorithmic systems?
My research employs: mixed-methods approach (integrating qualitative, quantitative), taxonomic analysis and speculative design— to critically examine and reimagine human–technology interactions.
