DETAILED ITINERARY:


Day 01: PICK UP CHANDIGARH AIRPORT / RAILWAY STATION - NARKANDA

On arrival at Chandigarh Airport / Bus station / Railway Station our representative will welcome you and drive to Shimla hotel. Shimla is a small hill station nestled among the Shivalik Range. The cantonment town, established during British Era, is now a favorite destination for weekend trips and small retreats. But there is a lot more to the quaint hill station than just scenic views. Overnight stay at Narkanda.

Day 02: SHIMLA-SARAHAN – SANGLA

After breakfast, check-out from your Hotel and drive to Sarahan via Kufri, Theog, Fagu, Narkanda, Rampur. On reaching Sarahan, check-in to your Hotel. 2165 metres above the sea level, Sarahan commands a view of Srikhand Mahadev Peak and is famous for 800 years old Bhimkali Temple, one of the best examples of Hill Architecture. In the evening, enjoy panoramic view of Shrikhand Peaks. Also visiting Bhimkali Temple - one of the 51 Shaktipeeths. Later depart for Sangla via Karcham. Your journey from here will take you to another spectacular destination in the middle Himalayas which is also known as Baspa valley – the prettiest valley in Himachal. What a better way to relax than a stroll to the riverside and tiny streams. This stay will be helping us acclimatize ourselves for the upcoming higher altitudes. Arrive at Sangla & check-in to your Hotel.

Day 03 : SANGLA SIGHTSEEING - KALPA

After a delicious Breakfast, explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamru Fort & Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam. After lunch, leave for an excursion to Chitkul

- the last Village on old Indo-Tibetan trade route. The valley is widest famous for green orchards and camping sites along the Baspa river bank. After lunch depart to Kalpa. enjoy the Sunset over Kinner Kailash Peaks.

Kalpa is famous for its apples & chilgoza plantations. The tree belongs to the Pine Family & the fruit is in about an inch long, in soft cover. visit the local School & Buddhist Gompa, Narayan Nagini Temple Complex, which has Shrines of Hindu, Buddhist and local Deities. Overnight stay.


Day 04: KALPA – NAKO - TABO

After breakfast we will drive you to Nako. Here you will check in to the hotel or in the luxury tented accommodation. Later on after lunch we will take you for a walk in the village and visit the Buddhist monastery related to guru Padmasambhava (a great buddhist scholar, whose teachings spread to Tibet from India), we will also visit Nako Lake, the residence of His Holiness The Dalai Lama ji. Later on next morning you may wish to walk to the nearby peaks and enjoy a wonderful view of the whole Nako village with the Himalayas as the backdrop of the village. After lunch we will drive start to Tabo. Today we will be entering the beautiful Spiti valley which is also known as the cold desert of the Himalayas (this area is cut from rest of the world due to heavy snow in the winters). en route we will visit the Gue village which is also the last Indian village on Indo-Tibetan boarder. Here we will be visiting the naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk which is about 600 years old, which was discovered here while building the road. Later on we continue our drive to Tabo. On arrival at Tabo we will visit the Tabo monastery which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas. Overnight stay in Tabo.

Day 05: TABO-DHANKAR-KAZA

After Breakfast, we continue our drive to kaza via Dhankar monastery. This beautiful monastery is locked between the rocky spurs at the top of cliff in the Dhankar village at an elevation of over 3,800 meters in the Spiti valley. It is a 16th century old fort monastery, which has also served as a prison in the erstwhile era. The Dhankar Gomba is over 1000 years old and is connected to the rest of the valley through a Motorable road, which is good for small vehicle only. There is a new monastery in the small village of Shichilling below the old monastery. The old monastery is associated with the Great Translator, Rinchen Zanggpo, and its complex comprises a number of multi-storey buildings perched together and check Inn hotel at Kaza.Overnight stay.

Day 06: KEE MONESTRY-KIBBER VILLAGE.

After Breakfast we will be driven to the village of Lagnza. Here there is an opportunity to walk around the village with your. You may wish to visit the monastery at the top of the village and on the way look out for fossils. Here you can also see the yak working in the fields or yak grazing in the pastures. If weather permits there is an option drive on to Hikkim, and the Comic village, which is now the world’s highest village (4,450 metres) joined to a motor able road. Later we will continue our drive to Kee Monastery and the village of

Kibber. Once Kibber (at 4,200 metres) was considered the world’s highest village. There is also the option to walk to the nearby mountains where there are big herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex gather in the evening. Lunch will be at Kibber village, in a local restaurant, where you will be offered a choice of delicious Tibetan dishes. In the evening we will return to Kaza. Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 07: KAZA- CHANDRATAAL LAKE- DEPART MANALI

Morning after breakfast leave for Chandratal Lake by crossing Kunzam Pass (15,100ft) reach Baltal, change a vehicle to Sumo to proceed to Chandratal lake. On a way have a magnificent view of CB Ranges Peaks. This Deep Blue Water Has A Circumference Of 2.5 Kms. This Is The Source Of The River Chandra According To Some Believers, This Is The Spot From Where The God Indra`S Chariot Took The Eldest Pandava Brother Yudhistra To Swarga To Heaven In His Mortal Form. Full day at Leisure to enjoy the beauty of beautiful lake and natural surrounded Snow peaks. lunch at Batal. Later proceed to Manali. 5-7 hour drive marks our arrival in Manali. We encounter various places such as Batal, Chotta Darrah, Gramphu and the famous Rohtang Pass. Famous as being the highest motor vehicle passes in India, it is also very scenic. As we approach Manali, by evening, we will spend our time resting and taking long walks in the forest areas around. Overnight stay at Manali hotel.

Day 08: manali local sight seeing

After Breakfast, proceed to sightseeing which includes,

Hadimba Temple- is dedicated to the wife of Bhim, one of the five Pandava brothers in the Indian epic Mahabharata. As the legend goes, Bhim married Hadimba and they had a son. Later on, Hadimba left the place and became a spiritual.

Vashist springs and temple- in a tiny hamlet situated on the bank of Beas River that turns towards Rohtang. It is well known for its hot sulphur springs and temples. Taking a dip in this water is considered sacred by many.

Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple devoted to Vashist Muni, a revered sage, Nehru Kund is a natural spring in the region. Located at a distance of around 6 km from Manali, it has been named after the late Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru. The Kund has derived its name from Nehru, as he used to drink water from it, on his journey to Manali.

Club House - The club house is an amusement zone. It has indoor game facilities and is situated on the left bank of river Manalsu Nallah. The structure of Club House finds resemblance from British style of architecture

The Mall Road - The throbbing nerve street of Manali, and is lined with plenty of hotels, eateries and shopping opportunities. Ranging from trinkets like key chains and keepsakes to the extortionately priced pashmina shawls, the Mall Road in Manali is the answer to all your shopping needs.

The Tibetan monastery - One of the major tourist spot in Manali and is famous for weaving different and colour full carpets. Residents and immigrants of Tibet produce handmade handicrafts to attract the various tourists.

Van Vihar -which is a municipal garden, is situated in front of the Tibetan market on Mall Road. In the lake located within the park, tourists can opt for boating. The park is adorned with big deodar trees. Night stay at manali.

Day 09: DEPARTURE TO CHANDIGARH

After Breakfast, check out from Manali hotel and drive to Chandigarh. Vehicle will drop you at Chandigarh hotel / Railway station / Airport / Bus Station. Your mesmerizing tour ends with sweet memories.
