Hello, welcome to my home page. I am currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of CSE, Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati, Assam, India. 

I was born in Ludhiana, Punjab, and later completed my schooling at DAV Model School, Durgapur. I pursued my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. My professional journey began with a brief stint as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at CMERI, Durgapur, followed by an M.E. in the Information Technology Department at Jadavpur University. I later worked as a Program Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions, with postings in Hyderabad and Kolkata. In 2012, I joined IIIT Guwahati as a lecturer and, in parallel, pursued my Ph.D. in the CSE department of IIT Guwahati. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at IIIT Guwahati.

My primary research interests lie in real-time systems, particularly the design of efficient schedulers with a focus on energy reduction and temperature management at the processor level. Recently, I have also started exploring data security challenges in IoT devices. Outside of work, I enjoy playing football, cricket, table tennis, cards, and Age of Empires. I consider myself a mix of being occasionally lazy and, at other times, highly motivated, driven by a passion for teaching, research, and continuous learning.
