I am an Assistant Professor of Education and Child Development in the Munroe-Meyer Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). I am also an Affiliated Researcher at the Center for Benefit-Cost Studies of Education (CBCSE) at the University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining UNMC, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania and received my Ph.D. in Public Affairs-Public Policy at the University of Minnesota.
My research interests encompass children and family policy, early childhood policy and program evaluation, immigrant children's well-being, and economic evaluation in education. I have studied programs and policies concerning marginalized children in both the United States and the Global South.
