I'm Sangwoo Hwang,
the Neuromorphic Researcher.

My ultimate research goal is to enable ultra-low-power Physical AI by leveraging the binary nature of SNNs, thereby maximizing battery life for real-world devices.
To achieve this, I focus on full-stack optimization ranging from algorithms to hardware architecture. My research contributions in this interdisciplinary field have been recognized in top-tier venues such as NeurIPS and HPCA.

Currently, I am a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Semiconductor Research Center, Korea University.

Research Interests:
On-Device AI, Neuromorphic Computing, Processing-in-Memory (PIM)

Skills:
Pytorch, Quantization, CUDA, FPGA (Xilinx), RTL (Verilog), ASIC (ICC2, Design Compiler)

I am always open to research collaborations. Please feel free to reach out via email.
