The Quantum Chemical Engineering Laboratory focuses on the development and application of hierarchical and ab initio based multiscale methods which allow to simulate advanced materials and chemical reactions with hitherto unprecedented accuracy.
We accelerate innovation in battery materials and semiconductor chemical processes by combining chemical engineering, quantum chemistry, and state-of-the-art computational methods. To this end, we combine traditional chemical engineering with quantum chemistry and state-of-the-art computational methods. My research group offers research opportunities for students interested in theoretical, computational, or experimental work or a combination of these.
