Welcome to Sanford Middle School PTA
PTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
The 2023/2024 school year will be the first for the recently formed Sanford Middle School PTA. This group has done great work the past two school years as the Sanford Parent Group.
The Sanford Middle School (Minneapolis) PTA hopes to be able to support all students, teachers and families on our way to having a great year of middle school. Our group meets monthly, usually on the first Tuesday of the month (6 to 7 pm) in the school's media center. All are welcome and encouraged to attend meetings and participate.
We have four committees that will help us focus our efforts: Events, Volunteers, Communication, and Fund Raising. You can learn more about each committee on their page.

Sanford PTA prioritizes spending to supplement the school's classroom resources, to sponsor student activities and field trips, and to appreciate school staff.

Teacher Stipend Reimbursement up to $100 for classroom supplies (follow spending guidelines)
Parent reimbursement for money spent after vote to approve spending has occurred at PTA meeting.

The Sanford Middle School PTA would like to support students/staff/teachers as much as possible. In an effort to support these wishes, we are trying to prioritize based on numerous factors. Please fill out form with as much detail as possible as this will help the PTA in our decision making. The PTA will review these requests at our monthly meetings. Responses will take between 4-6 weeks. *We are unable to fund requests that can be met by the district.* Thank you.
