University of Guelph

I am an Associate Professor of Management at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, University of Guelph.

I direct the Judgments and Decisions Lab, where we research the psychology of risk-taking (motivations, propensity, gambling, antisocial conduct) and competition (social comparison, inequality, dis/advantage, mental health).

Our work primarily addresses personality and individual differences, and is strongly guided by consideration of ecological rationality.

I teach classes in negotiation & conflict management, management decision-making, and quantitative research methods & statistics.
