TL,DR: Machine Learning Engineer @ Intel. Previously, PhD @ IIT Hyderabad, Research Intern @ Goldman Sachs, Advisor @ SpoonShot on ML and NLP, Software Engineer @ Symantec, and Masters @ IIT Kharagpur.
-------------------------------------------
I recently joined Intel as Machine Learning Engineer and is focusing on Graph Neural Networks. I submitted my PhD Thesis at the Computer Science and Engineering Department at IIT Hyderabad, India working in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing under the supervision of Dr. Maunendra Sankar Desarkar. My thesis focuses on developing machine learning models which works under limited supervision. Prior to Joining PhD, I worked as a Software Engineer at Symantec Software India Private Limited, Pune (company that created Norton Antivirus). I completed my Masters (M.Tech) from Computer Science and Engineering Department at IIT Kharagpur, India under the supervision of Dr. Partha Pratim Chakrabarti focused in Artificial Intelligence (Sponsored by General Motors).
I have published 6 papers in the area of Natural Language Processing till now. I have worked with various NLP and GNN techniques including on Transformer based Language Models (BERT, T5, XLM-RoBerta), Graph Neural Networks (GCN, GraphSage, GAT), Contrastive Learning and other Machine Learning models.
Please find more details about my research interests.
I advised SpoonShot.com, a Food-Tech startup, on Machine Learning from April 2020 to Dec 2021 and enjoyed it very much. I was also the moderator for the Machine Intelligence Group of ACM Chapter, IIT Hyderabad.
