I recentlly bought a brand new TV UE55NU7102K. I have transfered the channel list and made an custom order using my pc, after that I have imported the new channel list in TV and the channels order were all good but after a standby time he losses the order list.

So, tonight, I sat down to watch some broadcast TV. All was good until I decided to change the channel. I used the channel up/down button on the remote and instead of advancing from the broadcast channel I was watching (20-1), to the next broadcast channel (20-2), it jumps right to the TV Plus list of channels. I can scroll through all of those (yawn) but the only way to get back to broadcast TV is to enter the channel number manually on the remote.

My previous Samsung TVs have all had the ability to edit the channel list, for example, move all the HD channels to the top of the list, so when I click 1 I get BBC 1 HD, when I click 2 I get BBC 2 HD etc.

I have the same tv and have the same issue. Have tried 3rd party sites and can edit the channel list but am unable to load the new list to the tv. Really poor for a new tv not to have the ability to edit channel list!!!!!

I have a new 2022 Frame 32" TV. To replace my older samsung LED 32". On my old TV controller I had a button labled GUIDE. This on freeview brings up the program guide EPG. Couldn't obviously see the button. Maybe Samsung have changed yet another thing! There is now a LIST obvious button that just lists the channels but doesn't show what the channel is showing re programs v time. This is my annoyance that system/software gurus change everything they will say to move forward in the wonderful modern technical world. I see it with Microsoft as I now live with Windows 11 they have moved things around control panel to settings. Then they even change the function the way it works as they move it around. Somethings even disappear. What they forget is that a human being user is using it. We have become used to how it operates and works from a user point of view. I do trust Samsung with the Smart (Android) TVs don't go down this route heavily. So where is the EPG guide that I and my wife find so useful on this wonderful 2022 Smart TV to replace our older SMART TV. I am becoming somewhat of an unhappy bunny Mr Samsung. But thanks for the users on this forum. Keep up the good work. And lets keep Samsung on their toes.

If someone at SAMSUNG is reading this, then how about making the CH LIST button call up the EPG as I've searched a lot of comments and seems to me this would be a popular option as against just calling up the channel list, why is it possible to call the EPG with the new remote, but you have removed it from the old style remote. When you push CH LIST, would you think that most people are trying to find out what's on and what's coming on. I'm guessing all those super tech guys back in Korea don't have time to actually watch the TVs they design and program. Come on Samsung pull your socks up.

I sympathise. On this new FRAME Samsung TV it is meant to be smarter!! No longer Teletext because BBC have changed it slightly and Samsung don't support. The Red button is now supposed to give me BBC additional services. I have yet to make the Red Button do anything. the old EPG button is now Disney streaming. No doubt because from a marketing view point we are now into streaming. So no EPG button on the old inferred dumb controller. But I have been given a second controller called the SMART controller. No real legends on it helping you to know what the buttons do. By pressing the RH button I found it gave me the EPG although I was sure the functionality was as before with that function! I have downloaded the E-manual but it doesn't seem that clear in helping you to use the TV. Lots of stuff setting up where to plug in HDMI leads etc... That is pretty straight forward for most of us. And if you can't cope get the retail supplier to set it up for you - most will probably at a charge. I like Samsung technology I have 2 Samsung Smart phones, and a Samsung Tablet now with this so called SMART TV. But I think there user guides etc... are poor. AND are Samsung listening to us the USERS?? Many of us politely raise things on this Forum trying to help each other. But where is Samsung? Are they listening to the users and improving functionality are just give more gizzmo and shiny new features. So I am as confused as some of you other Samsung users.

The samsung tv plus app on my smart tv has an "edit channels" button that I've used to select only the channels I want. But now all the channels are back again, and the edit channels button is grayed out. Is this a bug, or did someone decide not to support that feature anymore?

Samsung is working on expanding the Samsung TV Plus to more regions and also adding more channels, recently revamped the TV Plus. It surely is a great initiative by Samsung to bring in free TV streaming services, especially even more beneficial for those who no longer have a cable network connection. The list will be updated as and when new channels get added to Samsung TV Plus.

Samsung TV Plus is a free video streaming service that offers many live channels and on-demand movies to users of specific Samsung smart TVs and smartphones. These users can access this content absolutely free of cost.

With Samsung Smart TV parental controls, you can control which channels your child can access with Apply Channel Lock and Channel Lock Settings. Also, you can add channels to Favourite lists to help children find the right channels easily.

Below, you will find all 260+ live channels included on the TV Plus app. This service is available and free to watch on all Samsung Galaxy smart TVs, mobile devices, and tablets released between 2016 and today. In addition to these broadcast channels, TV Plus includes over a thousand movies and television shows available on demand.

4. You should get a prompt to "Press Start to search for and save channels," as well as a warning that the search will erase your current channel list. Click "Start" (Note: The purpose of the scan is to erase your current list, but replace it with an updated list)

Hi, @danfelix

Do you mean a list of channels from SmartThings? If so, the only available invitation is the one of the Beta Channel as the Production Channel is the one where the Hub gets enrolled automatically and installs a driver for the device in case there is no compatible driver already on your Hub

Have you just bought a brandnew hightech samsung television? Congratulations. Sorting the favorite channels is probably one of the first things you do. Nowadays, specially with hundreds or thounds of channels, this task can be a very cumbersome. Moving channels by using the remote, e.g. from #343 to #23, takes some time. To make things easier, i have written this tool. With SamyCHAN you can organize your channel list very comfortable.

My Samsung LED TV was also suffering with painfully slow updates, that is until I reduced the number of channels in my channel list. The guess here is the fewer channels, the less information needs to be gathered so the quicker it will be to update.

The secret with a samsung tv is to select when first turning it on the Channels in quickest order: 1,2,3,7,9 and thus with the networks entire current epg list (eg. 7,70,71,72,73,74) loaded into the tv for your viewing session select the "Channel List" button on your remote or from the tv's "Menu" to view the epg.

Just something for you to chew over in my opinion.
