After installing Win 10, my Samsung Series 7 backlit keyboard won't light up. Fn+F2/F3 won't work and neither will Fn+F1 for Samsung settings. I tried installing the Samsung software controlling this Easy Settings but it isn't supported in Win 10. No drivers available from Samsung, either. Is there a way to light it up?

Unfortunately, the backlit settings could only be used through easy settings, a Samsung application which isn't compatible with Windows 10, so it means no, Windows 10 renders the backlit keyboard useless and there's no way around it unless you downgrade back to Windows 7 and install easy settings.

I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Book Pro, and I'm currently trying to set it up. However, I'm having a bit of trouble with updating the Samsung Settings app. While the other apps (Notes, Gallery, etc) updated without any issue, the settings won't update because it is "not compatible with this device", even though my device is the most recent model. This is the case for both the regular Samsung Settings and Samsung settings 1.1 version.

It was because just after one day "solving" this issue, the search settings function seems to be broken again without installing any new apps. So the "solution" by reinstall "Android System WebView" was simply temporary, or may be even just a coincidence. When I try to re-apply the same solution again, it didn't work at all!! Now the search function in Settings app remains broken.

I do not have a problem with Chat in Samsung Messages either, cetainly ensure Rich communications is toggled on in Settings. Once they are on go back to settings and you will see a new setting Developer Options and in that you turn on and off ADB debugging. As well as several other options that you probably just want to keep as default settings unless you are using Android Studio.

Hello, I am doing the same thing. I followed along and got the developer settings and everything set. Now I am wondering if I need to use Galaxy Watch Studio or Watch Face Studio and how to connect my watch in order to test the face designs.

Find My Mobile also allows you to remotely adjust the power saving settings on your lost phone to extend the battery life. Switch to maximum power saving mode to increase the time your device will stay on so you can locate it.

I have just finished setting up my new Galaxy Book Pro 360. I used the samsung settings app to set up the laptop. I then carried out an update of all the samsung apps and drivers. Following this the settings app was deleted and the settings returned to the default settings. Just need to know how I can download and install the app. Tried the Samsung app store but the app doesnt show up. Any help/advice would be welcome.

I have a Samsung Galaxy A12. It had installed the SmartThings app since some months ago. A few weeks ago I updated the system (accepted update notification) and it was fine. When I received the phone it had Android 11, now the software version shows Android 13 (due the system upgrade?). Yesterday I reset the phone to factory settings to have a clean environment but when installing the apps it says that SmartThings is not compatible with my phone :-/ It does not appear on the search results in playstore and if I open the direct web link to SmartThings in playstore it says is not compatible.

Samsung has come a long way from its TouchWiz days. Back then, the Android software interface on its older smartphones came with tons of bloatware, an atrocious design, and obfuscated settings. The company turned things around with One UI, the new and improved interface available on its phones since 2018. It's attractive, more customizable, and concise.

Open the Settings app on the phone and search for 'Connected devices.' Select the first result, scroll down to 'Multi Control,' and turn on the toggle. Once both devices are connected, a notification should appear at the bottom of the computer screen confirming the connection. The Multi Control settings menu on the PC will allow users to rearrange the position of the mobile device. Placing the mobile device on the left means users will have to move their cursor to the far left of their PC screen to control their smartphone, and vice-versa.
