Basically, when I start a call using discord, Skype or whatsapp, my audio quality becomes really bad. I'm using earphones with a built-in mic. It means that I can't multi-task while being on call. I can't listen to Spotify, nor watch Netflix or YouTube because the audio quality is just awful...

So I think that's a lead. I read on internet that people had found a small fix, they forced the phone to be in call mode and everything worked well. It is not a permanent fix however and it's complicated to do....

Samsung Phone How To Download Skype

I noticed this because I have terrible cellphone reception in my area and wanted to use discord over wifi as an alternative but as soon as the call opens the audio quality is reduced to a level which I am not able to understand what my father(reduced voice due to illness) is saying.

This is a dealbreaker for me and I am seriously considering returning the phone and switching to a brand which does not have this problem. I have read on some discord and skype forums that Huawei and samsung phones have this problem while some pure android phones and other brands does not.

This seems like a pure software issue and should be rather easy to fix for a big company like Samsung. I would rather not switch brands as I have gotten used to samsung phones and have gotten my entire family to get Samsung phones.

Samsung clearly has an issue with the audio out interface. No matter what ear buds I try (wired NOT wireless) the sound output seems to be in "karaoke mode" with the vocals barely audible and echoey. The rest of the sound spectrum seems fine. Perhaps there is some buried audio "feature" that is responsible? But finding deeper audio settings is mess. What gives Samsung? Clean this up! I like your phone but the audio out issue is a deal breaker.

No official response from samsung anywhere what would fix this widespread issue. Mods are coming up with every stupid question like did you try tk turn it off amd on again while ppl are desperate to fix it and spend hours finding answer to it.

All Samsung Galaxy smartphones have a secondary, front facing VGA camera that you can use to initiate video calls with your clients and employees. Putting a face behind the voice builds trust with your clients. You don't even need to use the phone's video call feature if you have Skype installed on your Galaxy phone. With Skype, you can initiate and receive video calls for free, as long as you are connected to the Internet. The video call feature is disabled by default when you install Skype on your Samsung Galaxy, so you need to enable it to make video calls.

Tap "Video Call" to initiate a video call. If the recipient clicks or taps "Answer Call," you will start video chatting. To stop broadcasting, tap the "Video" icon at the bottom of the screen and then tap "Turn Video Off." If you tap the microphone icon, you will mute the sound.

First, the bluetooth scanner can only find some headsets, not all of them. I tried to get a Motorola H350 headset to work, but it failed. Then I tried a Sprint Jawbone headset and it synced, but in Skype the microphone in it didn't work and it was using the microphone on the Galaxy Tab instead. I mean, I walked away from my tab and said "testing 1, 2, 3", and couldn't hear it. Instead, I heard someone near my tab saying, "testing a, b, c".

EDIT: I have since purchased these wireless headphones which also include a built-in mic. These sync'd up for audio output, but in Skype I could not get audio input. So, I then temporarily rooted my device (thank you z4 root tool) and edited /system/etc/bluetooth/audio.conf to enable some settings that Verizon Wireless and/or Samsung disables in the unit. I then reset the unit and did the headset repairing again. In the end, Skype would not do audio input from the headset. But I noticed this, however. The microphone on the Galaxy Tab is outstanding. It collects the audio input in such a way that drowns out background sound. So, in a sense, you can still use the headset with the tab and walk around in your cubicle, or even talk on a crowded bus, and for the most part it will clearly pick up your voice. It's a nice compromise since headsets with mics don't seem to work with the Galaxy Tab. This might be a symptom of Skype. Their tech support says they don't support audio routing through the headset. However, I noticed that headset audio on the Galaxy Tab also doesn't work with every other app I've tried as well.

Glad to see someone else with the same ambition, however, I just received a samsung wep870 headset and it's not behaving any different. According to samsung support, in order to use a headset in the first place, the headset must support a2dp. Perhaps someone else well have some luck making this work.

2 media audio (which my android connects to my FM rebroadcaster so I can pick it up on my cars' older radio, e.g. when I play podcasts, but still being able to have a phonecall: the media automatically stops playing, and I can touch the Navi to pick up the call)

I assume now, that Skype works intimately with the phone, on the media audio channel.A paired, connected BT audioset , will most likely broadcast phone audio capability, and Skype will be none the wiser...

Samsung's Galaxy S7 is an incredible piece of technology, but the Skype app that's preinstalled on some models may have some nasty issues, such as video and audio that freezes. Luckily, the fix for these problems is a simple one, although somewhat buried in the phone's Settings app.

Skype is the official app from the popular video calling program from Microsoft, thanks to which you can send and receive text messages, make voice calls, and even make video calls from an Android phone, so long as you are connected to the Internet (via WiFi or 3G).

Even though the best part of Skype, without a doubt, is the video calls, you can do much more from this official app. VOIP phone calls are the second most important tool, but you can also send free text messages and attach emoticons, your own pictures, or any other type of file.

Of course, there are other chat apps that let you make video calls between Android phones and iPhones, not to mention computers and tablets. And just like with FaceTime, all the options listed below except Instagram employ end-to-end encryption, which is designed to protect you and your personal data from digital snoops.

Warning: Android users are used to restoring devices to factory settings to clean device and personal information. But in fact, this does not really delete the data. Because these "deleted" data still exists in the device until it is overwritten by new data. It is easy to retrieve and restore all deleted Skype messages and other data using special data recovery tool before being overwritten. So if you want to permanently delete Skype chats and other data from your Android phone, you can use a professional third-party Android data erasing software, which will be introduced in Part 3:

If you are eager to delete important and sensitive chat history on Skype app, we humbly recommend you to try the Android Data Eraser. It is a powerful program to erase all personal information from Android devices permanently and make the deleted data unrecoverable. Not only Skype history, Android Data Eraser even help you clear photos, videos, contacts, text messages, and so on from Android phones. It will provide users with 3 different erasing levels to wipe the whole contents & settings on your phone.

Skype is truly one of the oldest and widely used chat messengers since the period when no Smartphone exist. It has been the first choice of Mac and desktop users as they were the only medium to go online and connect to the world. Skype is still the king of all other chat apps. It has gained momentum still in the era of Smartphones.

This way, you can clear all the cookies and data from your Skype app in your phone. It obviously deletes call history and chat. You need to sign in to your Skype all the time after doing it as it also deletes cookies.

In other words, all the deleted Skype messages and other data can easily be retrieved back by using a data recovery program. When a message or other data is removed, the data is actually there and it was not actually removed from your device. It remains somewhere on your phone memory until a new data is overwritten. So, a factory reset cannot also remove all the data as in-built factory reset option by Google can make your data exposed after reset.

For these purposes, we combine data we collect from different contexts (for example, from your use of two Microsoft products). For example, Cortana may use information from your calendar to suggest action items in a heads-up email, and Microsoft Store uses information about the apps and services you use to make personalized app recommendations. However, we have built in technological and procedural safeguards designed to prevent certain data combinations where required by law. For example, where required by law, we store data we collect from you when you are unauthenticated (not signed in) separately from any account information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number. ff782bc1db
