I recently went on a run with my Watch4 using Samsung health to track my data. At the end Samsung Health app on my watch showed all my data including a map. When I went to look on my phone using Samsung Health app it showed all my data but the map. I also went through previous works outs that displayed the map on my phone and those have disappeared but still show on my watch.

same here on galaxy watch 5. workouts I record with the strava app on the watch will show up in Samsung health but often my workouts done with other devices like my phone and a heart rate monitor etc won't sync back from strava to samsung health because the connection always automatically disconnects.

My take is samsung and strava know about this glitch. There is too much about this online and the fact that it just mysteriously rights itself without action by me other than constantly trying to log back in over and over again says to me there is an update happening somewhere that sorts it out. This has to be a software problem, surely.

Same issue with me using the Galaxy watch 5 to record my runs. I connect to strava through Samsung health then after a few day it disconnects and you have to re connect again. No sure if it's Samsung or Steava causing the problem.

I want to buy the new pixel watch but I have the S23 Ultra and don't want to use 2 health apps. So is it possible to synchronize all health and fitness data from google fit with samsung health via health sync? Can someone help me out here?

So I set up Meta Move, health connect like all tutorials said, but the quest recorded workouts are not showing up in Samsung Health. If I go to health connect app I can see that the workouts do get recorded, and written to my phone, and I can see that samsung health can read it, but it just doesn't. I do use it as PCVR, but as I said, the workouts do popup in Meta move and on my phone.

I would second a request for syncing total daily step count. More and more cronometer is becoming the central hub for all of my health and wellness data, calories burned from step counters a WAY overestimated so I never include that in my TDEE, but it would be nice just for tracking purposes as far as activity goes.

Samsung Health is a health and fitness app that encourages users to stay active. Available on Android and iOS phones, the app tracks activity data with significant health impacts, helping you gain insight into your well-being. It is also the go-to fitness app for Samsung wearables.

Many fitness and health devices are compatible with Samsung Health, including a number of Samsung smartwatches. To view the complete list of compatible devices within the app, tap More (the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your app screen), then tap Settings. Scroll down to and tap Accessories and browse the devices listed in each category.

Stridekick is separate from Health Sync and is not responsible for use of the Health Sync app. The Health Sync Privacy Policy can be accessed here. According to their Privacy Policy, Health Sync does not store your health data. Health Sync transfers the data during the sync operation.

The seamless integration between Samsung Health with the b.well Connected Health platform is a significant step toward providing consumers with a unified and holistic health experience. This integration empowers Samsung Health users to consolidate a 360-degree view of their health, which not only includes clinical records but also encompasses wearables, pharmacy, laboratory, and insurance data including that from CMS and Veterans Affairs. For consumers, this places them in control of their data, allowing them to determine how it is shared and utilized.

Beyond a longitudinal health record, Samsung Health users will receive deeply personalized insights and proactive health recommendations, driven by the b.well platform's algorithmic approach using Clinical Quality Measures and advanced analytics. The b.well platform will also establish direct connections to participating in-person, digital, and virtual care providers, ensuring users can easily act on insights and connect to the care they need. With health data tracked on their devices, users might receive a reminder for a preventive screening, a prompt to follow up on a care plan from their physician, or a helpful reminder for someone they care for. Every recommendation is tailored to the individual's unique health profile.

"Walgreens aims to deliver more joyful lives through better health, and one of the ways we can do this is by providing a frictionless and improved patient experience across the entire health continuum, which includes enabling the ability to manage your health at your fingertips," said Tracey D. Brown, Executive Vice President, President of Walgreens retail and Chief Customer Officer. "Collaborations like this one with b.well and Samsung aim to provide Americans access to the care they need, when they need it, while empowering them to be more engaged in their health. We look forward to finding additional ways to provide quick access to proactive and relevant information that matters most to them about their health."

External contractors and companies that provide necessary services may have access to some of your information needed for processing, but do not have access to any of your personal identifiable information, your blood pressure or EKG recordings or health history. The vendor that handles payment processing is a good example of this. Such vendors are required by law to protect the information we share with them.

So the only way I can use Samsung for tracking is installing fitbit on my phone and using health sync app to sync Samsung with Fitbit and Fitbit then syncs to this app. Kind of silly work around. Is Samsung and Google products difficult to implement natively?

Getting reminders for when to take your meds is pretty useful, especially if you're popping pills every day. It's not just about being forgetful; it can seriously impact your health. But forgetfulness happens, and you're not the only one who sometimes blanks out on meds. Thankfully, Samsung is stepping in to make sure you don't flake on those prescribed or over-the-counter meds with a new feature coming to the Health app.

Fresh from its latest enhancements, Samsung Health continues to be your go-to companion for a holistic approach to your health and wellness, thanks to its new feature called "Medications." Coming to the US this week, it lets you set reminders for your meds and even get a nudge when it's time to hit up your healthcare provider for refills, according to the company's press release.

Samsung Health is upping its wellness game by adding this new feature. The app already has a number of handy functionalities, like mindfulness programs, sleep tracking, and keeping tabs on your heart rhythm. Now, with Medication tracking in the mix, you can smoothly weave your medication routine into your overall health and well-being regimen.

The popularity of various fitness trackers and other wearables, and the vast amount of data they provide, inevitably lead to the creation of specialized platforms capable of dealing with all that data and suitable for powering new health informatics mobile apps. The industry giants such as Google, Samsung, and Apple have already presented their platforms with open application programming interfaces (APIs) for the development of health apps.

Today the market for mHealth apps is approximately $25.17 billion. According to Statista, the global mobile health or mHealth market is estimated to reach $189 billion by 2025. The fitness apps market will likely grow by $1.68 billion from 2020 to 2024.

Drivers include growing access to mobile and digital technology, healthy lifestyle trends, the necessity to provide care for an aging population, as well as the Covid-19 pandemic, which escalated the demand for remote monitoring tools and services.

There are standards in place for custom healthcare software development APIs. For example, the FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standard defines medical data formats and data exchange via REST APIs.

The market already offers platforms that allow healthcare software development companies to build apps empowered by APIs that allow interoperability between systems and quickly deliver information to app users. For example, the Google Cloud Healthcare API provides industry-standard protocols and formats for data intake, storing, analyzing, and integrating healthcare data with cloud-based applications.

Medical apps are based more on HealthKit than on fitness APIs. Certified medical devices for remote monitoring, such as blood pressure monitors, glucose meters, pulse oximeters, sleep apnea monitors (PSG), neurological monitors, and more are becoming more widely used. Going forward, APIs will be even more in demand as they are certified for medical use. Thus, health-tracking platforms and open APIs available for the development of custom healthcare software solutions can be a handy tool for developers.

Google Fit is positioned as an open ecosystem: it lets developers upload health and wellness data to a central repository where users can access their data from different devices and apps. Initially, the platform was designed to be compatible with all possible devices. 2351a5e196
