I am a Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University (MSU), and I served as Department Head and held the James W. Bagley Chair (2020-2024).
Before arriving at MSU, I was Cluster Lead (2016-2020) for Computer Systems Research at the National Science Foundation and the Walter B. Booth Professor at North Dakota State University, where I started my career in 2008.
My studies of computer systems have appeared in 475+ publications (including nine books) and have been cited over 27,000 times (h-index of 78).
I have conducted these studies with an outstanding team of (now all graduated) advisees (3 postdocs, 16 PhD, and 11 MS), supported by grants/contracts totaling $13.1M+ from NSF, DHS, FAA, DOE, State Department, Foundations, and Industries.
Currently advising: 5 PhD and 1 MS students.
