In this line chart, I wanted to examine the distribution of violation types reported per hour. I was interested to see if different types of violations occurred more frequently at different times of the day. What I learned is that the distribution of violations by type reported by hour mirrors the frequency of total crimes reported by the hour. There does not appear to be any time of day when more serious crimes are reported in greater volume compared to violations or misdemeanors.
