🟣I love the outdoors, and if I could I would spend everyday outside gardening, caring for my livestock of chickens, fishing, camping, and practicing my love for astronomy at night.  In my spare time I have a love for cooking & baking many types of foods and I like to bring that into the classroom learning experiences.  I was raised in Minnesota and share a love for the nature and history of the state. I practice many traditions with my family year round with my Norwegian, German, Irish, and Cherokee cultural background. I love celebrating people and culture through conversations and events around me. 

🟣I became a teacher to make a difference in young people's lives. I  strive to learn from my love of reading and conversations and experiences with others. What better way to learn than to learn through teaching! My heart lies with early childhood education and special education. I love the developmental levels and brain growth of young minds. I firmly believe in bringing out the best in people through learning about each unique individual's personal strengths and learning styles.  I teach so children feel that they are each a unique event in the universe, are safe, and having fun in an all inclusive school environment.
