Problem Statement:
During pandemics, vaccination centers become critical infrastructures that must operate with maximum efficiency and transparency. However, in many cases, there is limited visibility into real-time patient flow—such as wait times, bottlenecks, and crowd density at specific checkpoints. This lack of operational insight prevents healthcare managers from identifying inefficiencies and improving the quality of service, leading to longer wait times, patient dissatisfaction, and potential health risks due to overcrowding.
Objective:
The objective of this project is to enhance operational visibility within vaccination centers by collecting real-time data on patient movement.
Proposed Solution:
Implement an RFID-based tracking system using RFID badges assigned to patients and fixed and 3D RFID readers strategically installed at key points within the center. This setup enables continuous tracking of patient locations, automatic detection of congestion points, and generation of real-time alerts and reports for management.
