Dear Students,
Pranam!
The month of December unfolded as a truly special chapter in our school journey—one that beautifully reflected creativity, joy, and collective achievement. It was heartening to witness the campus come alive with festive spirit, artistic expression and a deep sense of togetherness.
The highlight of the month was the grand and successful showcase of Annual Day 2025, where our students mesmerized the audience with their confidence, talent and discipline. Every performance on stage—be it dance, music, drama, or narration—was a testimony to their dedication, perseverance and teamwork. The meticulous planning and tireless efforts of our teachers, students and support staff culminated in a celebration that truly upheld the spirit of excellence that Salwan stands for. The proud presence and encouragement of parents added immense value to this memorable occasion. December also brought with it the warmth and joy of Christmas celebrations, reminding us of the timeless values of love, compassion, sharing, and gratitude.
The festive activities and assemblies spread cheer across the campus and reinforced the importance of kindness and harmony in our lives. Such celebrations help us appreciate diversity and strengthen the bonds that unite us as one school family.
As we reflect on these enriching experiences, we are reminded of the vision of our revered Chairman Emeritus, Shri Shiv Dutt Salwan Ji, whose ideals continue to guide us. His belief in ‘Service Before Self’ inspires us to nurture not only academic excellence but also moral strength, empathy, and social responsibility in every child.
As we step into the New Year 2026, I extend my warm wishes to each one of you. May this year bring good health, happiness, and new opportunities to learn and grow. Dear children, embrace every new beginning with confidence, curiosity and a positive spirit. Carry forward the lessons of participation, collaboration, and celebration, and let them shape your values, life skills and character. May you continue to grow as confident, compassionate and responsible individuals who contribute positively to the world around you.
Blessings,
Ms. Rashmi Malik

A Celebration of Cheer, Compassion, and Togetherness
Sleep, my dear child,
Sleep and dream wild.
I will put you to bed,
So you can rest your little head.
Life is full of work and joy,
Sleep is for every girl and boy.
Sleep, my dear child,
Sleep and dream wild.
Clouds look like pie,
The birds have come to say goodbye.
The moon is shining soft and bright,
I’ll hold you gently through the night.
Sleep, my dear child,
Sleep and dream wild.
Caterpillars tuck in leaves,
Tailorbirds rest in woven weaves.
Everyone must rest,
Sleep and dream your best.
Sleep, my dear child,
Sleep and dream wild.

A place where beauty always flows,
Where miles of flowers brightly bloom.
A place where all the animals live together,
Where trees bear fruits in every season.
But then came an unknown stranger,
With something harmful in his hand.
Do you know what it is?
It is plastic that we use every day.
It turned the beautiful forests
Into barren lands filled with waste.
It changed the flowing rivers
Into lakes layered with plastic and sewage.
Let us realise what is happening,
Wake up and open our eyes wide.
Let us all join hands together
And save our world before it dies.
