🌱 Welcome to Our Spring Pilot Program (March–May)

We are excited to introduce our Spring Pilot Program, a soft opening designed to gently welcome families into our learning community before the start of our full academic year.

From March through May, students will engage in supplemental learning, hands-on activities, experiments, and field trips in a nurturing, faith-centered environment. This pilot season allows families to experience our rhythm, values, and approach while helping us thoughtfully prepare for our official academic launch.

Following the pilot program, we will break for June and July to refine curriculum, prepare classrooms, and fully equip our team for the upcoming school year beginning in August.

💰 Tuition & Registration Details

One-time Registration Fee: $275 per family
(This registration fee will cover your family through the pilot program and will not be required again until August 2027.)
Pilot Program Tuition (March–May): $275 per month
(Discounted founding family rate)
Full Academic Year Tuition (Beginning August): $350 per month

Families enrolled in the Spring Pilot Program will receive priority placement for the upcoming academic year.

Welcome to Salt+Light Learning Co-op. We are honored that you are here! Our co-op exists to come alongside homeschooling families by providing a structured, supportive, and Christ-centered learning environment where students, K-12, are encouraged to grow spiritually, socially, and academically.

Salt + Light Learning Co-op is designed to support-not replace- the role of parents as primary educators. We believe that children thrive when learning is grounded in strong values, clear expectations, and a caring community.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide a faith-based, supportive learning community that encourages academic growth, character developement, and a love of learning while partnering with families on their homeschool journey. We seek to equip students not only with knowledge, but with strong values, confidence, and compassion, grounded in biblical principles.

OUR STORY

This co-op was born out of both love and lived experience.

Like many families, our journey into education didn't follow a straight line. My son, Tripp, is bright, creative, curious, and full of life (and energy)- but traditional school environments were not always the place where those gifts were best understood or supported. Over time, I began to see how easily a child's confidence can be shaped by their environment, and how important it is for children to feel seen, valued, understood, safe, and capable in the space where they learn.

As a parent, I found myself asking deeper questions:

What if learning could feel peaceful instead of pressured?

What if children were allowed to grow at their own pace while still being challenged?

What if individual character, kindness, and curiosity were valued just as much as academics?

Through our homeschool journey so far, I watched Tripp begin to thrive when learning became less stressful for him, personal, flexible, and more connected to real life. However, like many parents, we are a working family. We deeply value our time with our children, but we also understand the reality of balancing work, responsibility, and the desire to be fully present in our child's education. There have been times when we wished we could give Tripp more time, more structure, and more intentional learning than our schedules allowed. Yet even in the limited amount of homeschooling we were able to do, something remarkable happened- we watched him grow, mature, and thrive at a pace we haven't seen before.

This realization became one of the driving reasons behind creating this micro school co op. We wanted to build a space that supports:

Working parents who want intentional education for their children but cannot homeschool full time

Families who homeschool and desire community, structure, and shared learning

Children who benefit from both consistency and flexibility

We believe God meets families right where they are, and this co op was created to serve families in every season.
