During our 2026 Eastern European mission, God arranged for us to travel to Prague. We arrived in Prague on Saturday night and attended the Sunday service at the Prague Chinese Evangelical Church, where I was invited to preach.
This is a Chinese church that rents space from a local Korean church. It was founded in 2019 by a Korean missionary who had served in China for many years. However, since 2024, the church has been without a resident pastor. Although the brothers and sisters have been believers for years, their understanding of biblical truth remains quite superficial. By their own admission, the church lacks many foundational elements; for instance, they have only recently organized a Bible reading program but still have no Bible study groups or prayer meetings. They are desperate for a pastor to lead them.
Although only about a dozen people currently attend the services—many of whom are tour guides and frequently away on tours, making attendance unstable—these members are very united and share close relationships.
We have begun in-depth discussions regarding cooperation, hoping that pastors in the United States will see the great need here.
