(Prologue)

Le Dodécanèse, dans les limbes de l'Egée.

L'une des 12, Karpathos.

En termes de probabilités, Ulysse avait plus de chances de s'échouer là, que sur l'île de Robinson.
Dodeca, c'est aussi le nombre de dieux grecs. L'aîné : Poséidon, alias Neptune, ou l'Océan.

Lors du partage du monde, c'est lui qui chope l'île mythique de l'Atlantide. Au lancer de dés, il avait fait un double 6.

The Dodecanese, in the limbo of Aegean.

One of the 12, Karpathos.

In terms of probabilities, Odysseus had more chances to run aground there than on Robinson's island.

Dodeca is also the number of Greek gods. The eldest: Poseidon, aka Neptune, or the Ocean.

During the division of the world, it’s him who grabs the mythical island of Atlantis. On the throw of the dice, he had made a double 6.

Tout est relatif. Mathématique. Géométrique. Philosophico-hellénique au départ. Puis différentiel. Alors la relativité générale permet la modélisation d'une courbure de l'espace-temps, puis on module, on déforme, pour permettre à la ligne euclidienne la fonction courbe recherchée, biaiser le réel pour dériver vers une évasion. Poser le kono.

Everything is relative. Mathematic. Geometric. Philosophico-Hellenic initially. Then differential. Bucoliques,

Virgile et ses bergers devisent, selon l'algorithme de l'hexamètre dactylique, en vers d'alexandrins, dodeca-syllabiques.
Ils chantent la nature, source de nostalgies et d'épanouissements, témoin et expression du temps qui passe.

Bucolic, Virgil and his shepherds converse, according to the algorithm of dactylic hexameter, in alexandrine verses, dodeca-syllabic.
They sing nature, source of nostalgia and fulfillment, witness and expression of the time passing.

Carpathos, l'île du berger Protée, fils de Neptune, une espèce de divinité marine, vieillard de la mer, gardien des troupeaux d'animaux marins de son père, doté du don de prophétie et du pouvoir de se métamorphoser. Son nom ne serait que la transcription de Prouïti, la sublime porte. Le passage.

Carpathos, the island of Proteus the shepherd, son of Neptune, a sort of marine divinity, old man of the sea, guardian of his father's herds of marine animals, endowed with the gift of prophecy and the power to metamorphose himself. His name would only be the transcription of Pruïti, the sublime door. The passage.

Il aurait sauvé le réfugié Dionysos (son oncle), un africain migrant voyageur jedi errant venant du Nil, plantant le raisin à tout-va.

Depuis les vignes de Carpathos, quand on regarde au loin, on entend aussi bien le son du oud que celui du luth amplifié stratocaster. Quand on se promène sur la montagne, au fil des virages, la bande fm de l'autoradio capte l'orient quand on vire d'un côté ou l'occident quand on vire de l'autre.

From the vineyards of Carpathos, when you look at the distance, you can hear both the sound of the oud and the amplified lute stratocaster’s. When you stroll on the mountain, as the turns go by, the car radio’s FM band picks up the Orient when you turn to one side or the Occident when you turn to the other.

Selon l'homéomorphisme de l'été, Protée est tantôt le Captain de Prasonisi sur la terrasse de son échoppe, tantôt  Manolis devant sa cantina sur la plage, à la proue du pickup à tête de cheval, immatriculé AOK-1212. Sur la playlist, l'électro dérive la sombre rythmique envoûtée par les appels des sirènes, incantations au milieu de l'océan.

Depuis les terrasses de Carpathos, quand ils devisent et regardent au loin, Protée et Dionysos discourent sur la vie, des souvenirs prochains modulés par les chants des créatures marines qui résonnent entre les îles, depuis celle de sa soeur Rhodé la voisine jusqu'aux eaux plus lointaines du sud de l'Egée de son frère Triton, entre l'Europe et le Proche-Orient.

From the terraces of Carpathos, when they converse and look in the distance, Proteus and Dionysus talk about life, about next memories modulated by the songs of the sea creatures that resonate between the islands, from that of her sister Rhode the neighbor to the more distant waters of the southern Aegean of her brother Triton, between Europe and the Near East.

Les limbes.

Avant d'être virgilien, Neptune s'appelait Poséidon. Sa femme Amphitrite ou Salacie, grecque ou latine au fil des ans. Quand il la voit danser sur l'eau, Poséidon en tombe amoureux, mais elle s'enfuit, se perd dans les limbes de l'Egée. C'est Delphinos qui la ramène au palais d'or. En récompense le dauphin se retrouve à voler parmi les astres, aux côtés du scorpion dans le ciel azur de Karpathos, où les poissons volent sous les parasols les jours de pleine lune. Si j'avais eu à choisir, entre les 12 constellations du zodiac de devil bay, j'aurais préféré la libellule.

Dans le palais du royaume atlante et sur les plages d'or, jouent et rient les enfants. Triton, Rhodé, Protée, Pélias, Eole....
Limbo.

Before being Virgilian, Neptune was called Poseidon. His wife Amphitrite or Salacia, Greek or Latin over the years. When he sees her dancing on the water, Poseidon falls in love, but she flees, gets lost in the Aegean limbo. Delphinos is the one who brings her back to the golden palace. If I‘d had to choose between the 12 constellations of the devil bay zodiac, I would have preferred the dragonfly.

In the palace of the Atlantean kingdom and on the golden beaches, the children play and laugh. Triton, Rhode, Proteus, Pelias, Aeolus....

Le muthos et le logos.

Quelques douze milles lieues sur les mers plus tard,  Jules Verne n'eut connaissance de l’île de Carpathos, que par ce vers de Virgile que le capitaine Nemo lui cita, en posant son doigt sur un point du planisphère.

« C’était, en effet, l’antique séjour de Protée, le vieux pasteur des troupeaux de Neptune, maintenant l’île de Scarpanto, située entre Rhodes et la Crète. Je n’en vis que les soubassements granitiques à travers la vitre du salon. » du Prevelis.
The muthos and the logos.
Some twelve thousand leagues over the seas later, Jules Verne only became aware of the isle of Carpathos, through this verse of Virgil that Captain Nemo quoted him, by placing his finger over a spot of the planisphere.
« It was indeed that bygone abode of Proteus, the old shepherd of Neptune's flocks, now the island of Scarpanto, located between Rhodes and Crete. I could see only its granite bedrocks through the lounge window » of the Prevelis.

Aujourd'hui, Protée, sous les traits d'Agrilaopotamos souvent, cultive toujours son jardin sur la plage, et mène encore son troupeau paître sur les rivages alentours.

Il y promène les autres enfants de Poséidon et d'Amphitrite, qui sont également phoques, dauphins, argonautes et nautiles, nymphes marines,
dont les descendantes sont celles qui surfent au soleil de Karpathos.
Nowadays, Proteus, often under the guise of Agrilaopotamos, still cultivates his garden on the beach, and still leads his flock to graze on the surrounding shores.
There he walks the other children of Poseidon and Amphitrite, who are also seals, dolphins, argonauts and nautilus, marine nymphs,
whose descendants are those who surf under the sun of Karpathos.

Sous les vagues, on devine quelquefois le palais d'or au fond des mers.

La quête de l'Atlantide. Celle du kono. Tout est relatif,

entre le muthos et le logos,

dans l'espace géométrique différentiel, du songe à la réalité, sortir du mythe, en rêver, imaginer et poser le kono.
Under the waves, you can sometimes perceive the golden palace on the seabed.
The quest of Atlantis. That of kono. Everything is relative,

between the muthos and the logos,
in the differential geometric space, from dream to reality, to get out of the myth, dream about it, imagine and nail the kono.

(Epilogue)

Ainsi parlait Socrate : « Que ce ne soit pas une fiction fabriquée (μῦθος) mais une histoire véritable (λόγος), voilà qui est essentiel » , au sujet des récits de l'Atlantide de Platon, seuls éléments véritables pour mener cette quête. Les élèves de l’école pythagoricienne croyaient en un code mathématique à l’origine de la vie qu'il fallait déchiffrer pour comprendre la vérité de notre existence, sensation ou raison de Zetetikos.
Thus spoke Socrates : « And the fact that it is no invented fable (μῦθος) but genuine history (λόγος) is all-important », about the stories of Plato’s Atlantis, the only true elements to lead this quest. The students of the Pythagorean school believed in a mathematical code at the origin of life that had to be decrypted to understand the truth of our existence, sensation or reason of Zetetikos.
