It is with some sorrow that the organisers of the popular monthly fire station's charity Car Boot Sales announce these will not start again after the easing of lock-down restrictions.

As people may be aware, Ashley Green opposite Salisbury Fire Station is imminently to be included in a major flood prevention scheme for the city, restricting access, space and opportunity into 2022 and beyond as the change of use takes place.

After 35 years of successfully supporting and raising funds for the Fire Fighters Charity, the organisers wish to thank:

  • the Salisbury community for its loyal patronage

  • Salisbury City Council for making Ashley Green available as a venue

  • Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue service for making its facilities available over the last decades

  • the many volunteers for giving up their time in aid of the Charity to make these events possible.

Many thanks,

Ludo Macaulay MBE
