Set up Conditional Formatting when you begin so that you can enter values in a column and they will automatically be bolded as you go.

From the top Navigation within Google Sheets, click "Format" then "Conditional Formatting"
Within the bar that pops up on the right, click "Add another rule"
- Enter the range you'd like this to apply to, starting at the second cell (to avoid impacting the header) and going to the bottom of the page (you can just leave the letter as the end of your range, ex. A2:A)
- Click 'B' to make the text bold
- Update the fill color to be translucent
