Abdul Saleem Mir, Ph.D.
I was born in Beerwah, J&K, in 1993. I received the B.Tech. degree (with Gold Medal) in electrical engineering from the National Institute of Technology at Srinagar, Srinagar, J&K, India in 2014 and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi, New Delhi, India in July 2020. I was conferred with PPSA-2020 Award for research accomplishments in doctoral category by POSOCO (India's Largest Utility) and FITT-IIT Delhi. From October 2020 till December, 2021, I worked as ROSES Research Fellow at the University of Southampton with Imperial College London as collaboration partner. I joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Roorkee as an Assistant Professor in December 2021. I am a member of two IEEE PES taskforces (TFs): IEEE TF on Dynamic State and Parameter Estimation, and IEEE TF on Test Systems for State Estimation. My research interests include:
