Hello! I am a development economist and currently an Associate Research Fellow in the Development Strategy and Governance (DSG) Unit at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), USA. I am based in Vientiane, Lao PDR.With over ten years of experience in applied microeconomics, I have worked across multiple country programs, combining analytical rigor with a strong focus on policy relevance. My research interests span agriculture, poverty and resilience, food security, and nutrition, with a particular emphasis on gender dynamics.Recently, my work has centered on collecting and tracking development indicators in conflict-affected regions of Myanmar and evaluating development interventions aimed at improving food security and nutrition in low-income settings. This includes research on integrated agriculture-nutrition programs and the comparative effectiveness of social protection modalities—such as cash, food, and voucher transfers.I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Manchester, UK (2022), and an M.A. in Economics from the University of California, Riverside, USA (2014).Click here for the latest version of my CV.
