# Privacy Policy — Salah

Appvera ("we", "us", "our") publishes the mobile application **Salah — Prayer
Times, Qibla & Quran** ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the
App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
## Summary
- We do **not** sell your data.
- We do **not** require you to create an account.
- Your **location** is used only on your device to calculate prayer times and
qibla direction. It is not transmitted to our servers.
- We use **Google AdMob** to show banner advertising and **Google Play Billing**
for the optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase.
- A small amount of crash and diagnostic information may be collected by the
operating system and store platforms.
## 1. Data We Process On Your Device
The following data stays on your device unless explicitly noted:
- **Approximate or precise location** (GPS, network) — used to compute prayer
times and qibla bearing. Stored in the App's local database.
- **City selection, calculation method, theme, language, font scale, adhan
sound, daily reading progress, bookmarks, tasbih counts, kaza counts,
fasting log, zakat inputs** — stored in the App's local database
(Hive / SharedPreferences) on your device.
- **Notification preferences** — stored locally; the operating system
schedules the alarms.
We do not upload, sync or back up this data to any server we control.
## 2. Data Collected By Third-Party Services
When you use the App, the following third parties may receive data directly
from your device, governed by their own privacy policies:
### a. Google AdMob (advertising)
We display banner ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID
- IP address
- Device information (model, OS version, language)
- Coarse location derived from IP
- App interaction events with ads
You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device's system settings.

### b. Google Play Billing (in-app purchases)
The optional "Remove Ads" purchase is processed by Google Play Billing.
We never see your payment details — only a purchase token used to verify the
entitlement.

### c. Public content APIs
The App fetches Islamic content from public APIs:
- **mp3quran.net** — list and stream URLs of Quran reciter radios
- **YouTube (google.com)** — embedded live streams from Masjid al-Haram and
Masjid an-Nabawi (you may see YouTube cookies inside the embedded player)
- **OpenStreetMap / city databases** — for city search
When the App makes these requests, only your IP address and standard HTTP
headers are sent. We do not attach any user identifier.
### d. Crash reporting (operating system)
Android may collect anonymous crash diagnostics if you have enabled "Send
diagnostic data" in your system settings. We do not run a custom crash
reporter inside the App.
## 3. Permissions We Request

You may revoke any permission from your device settings at any time.
## 4. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect
personal information from children. Ad content from AdMob is configured for a
general audience.
## 5. Your Rights
Because we do not run user accounts or store personal data on our servers,
there is no profile to access, export or delete. To clear all locally stored
data, uninstall the App or use Android's "Clear data" option.
For requests related to data processed by third parties (e.g. AdMob), please
contact those providers directly using the links above.
## 6. Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last
updated" date above and, where appropriate, announced inside the App.
