Research Interests

I am working on the cryptographic security aspects of decentralized systems like Blockchains, and Cryptocurrencies. I am also interested in studying (cryptographic and game-theoretic) fairness in multi-party computation and efficient post-quantum cryptographic tools based on Lattices that have real-world applications.

More Background

I was a post-doctoral fellow at NTT Research working with Hoeteck Wee and before that, I was at Carnegie Mellon University working with Elaine Shi. Dominique Schröder was my Ph.D. supervisor at the Chair of Applied Cryptography, Friedrich Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany (2016-2021). My Ph.D. dissertation was nominated for GI Dissertationspreis 2021.

Before this, I did my Master (M.Sc, 2015-2016) in Computer Science at Universität des Saarlandes, Germany, and my bachelor's (B.Tech, 2011 - 2015) in Computer Science & Engineering, from National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India. I attended School at DAV Boys Senior Secondary School, Gopalapuram, Chennai, (2008-2011) and DAV BHEL School, Ranipet, (1997-2008).
