ALL: My good and dear Jesus, as I kneel before You, and reflect upon your sacrifice of love for me upon the cross, I ask You to help me to know your love for me, to be sorry for my sins, to be faithful in loving you, and to always try to be good, so that I may be pleasing to You my Lord, who gave up your life for me. Amen
Leader: God our Father, in obedience to You, Your only Son accepted death on the cross for the salvation of mankind. We acknowledge the mystery of the cross on earth.
