I am a dedicated researcher with a keen interest in coastal hydrodynamics, satellite altimetry, extreme weather events, and the impact of climate change on coastal regions. I earned my Master's degree in Geoscience and Geophysics from La Rochelle University and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Rouen Normandy. My doctoral research is generously supported by CNES and the Normandy Region.
My research focuses on monitoring coastal hydrodynamics by integrating spatial observations with numerical modelling. A significant part of my Ph.D. involves evaluating the altimetry products available for hydrodynamic monitoring, particularly SWOT products. Additionally, I plan to utilise other satellite missions to validate multi-mission calibration. By merging LiDAR data with SWOT products, I aim to extract precise information on sea surface height and wave dynamics.
An essential component of my work is performing data assimilation to enhance the accuracy of our numerical models. These improved models will then be employed to monitor coastal flooding, run-up, and other critical parameters along the Normandy coast.
Looking ahead, I am committed to advancing my research in remote sensing and contributing to effective coastal protection strategies, aiming to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change on vulnerable coastal communities.
My research interests are mainly focused on coastal hydrodynamics, satellite altimetry, coastal morpho dynamics, climate change and extreme events.
