Myself, Saif Ahmed, currently working under the supervision of Prof. Mohammad Abdul Alim (Ph.D.) on perovskite solar cells. I completed my Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Chittagong in 2019. My major was in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
My research interests are in Advanced Materials, Optoelectronic Devices and Materials, Flexible Electronics and Materials, Energy Storage, Nanotechnology & Nanomaterials, and Carbon Nanomaterials (Graphene, CNT, MXenes, etc). I have worked on numerical characterizations of Cesium titanium bromide based perovskite solar cells and Cesium formamidinium lead mixed halide based perovskite solar cells. I have three publications. I have expertise in SCAPS-1D simulation software and python. I also have some knowledge of Comsol Multiphysics and Matlab.
I have a blog site named Electraspace where I write about electrical, electronics, and solar cell technologies. I write about astrophysics as well.
Currently, I am looking for a Research Assistant position to take my research to the next level.
