Diana MacDougall

Diana E. MacDougall is a nationally certified interpreter through the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), and has been working as a professional interpreter for over 38 years. She holds a Certificate of Interpretation (CI) and a Certificate of Transliteration (CT). She has a BA in Anthropology and Women’s Studies, and an MA in Sociology, both from the University of California at Riverside. In both degrees, her focus of research is within Gender and Interpreting. She is a Professor and the Coordinator of the ASL/Interpreter Education Program at Riverside City College.

Danny Frank

Danny Frank helped establish SAID in 2008. He is a nationally certified ASL Interpreter with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication studies from the University of Minnesota and a Certificate in ASL Interpreting from Riverside City College.

Danny has provided Interpreting services since 2009 in three states: California, Arizona, and Minnesota where he currently lives. Danny and has experience in Performing Arts, Postsecondary, Community, and Video Relay Services.

Danny works with SAID as the Practicum Agency Representative where he coordinates student interpreting requests and is the Admin for the SAID website.

Tabatha King

Tabatha King graduated from Riverside City College with a Certificate in Sign LanguageInterpretation. She has been professionally interpreting since 2012 and is currently pre-certified with the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.

Tabatha started her career in the post-secondary educational setting and quickly adapted to a wide range of demands including work in medical, community, performing arts, comedic performances, GLBTQ leather community and video relay service. Tabatha also holds the director position for the ASL Interpreting guild at the Southern California Renaissance Faire.

In addition to interpreting, Tabatha has been coordinating events and fundraisers since her addition to the team and works as a mentor to current Interpreter Training Program students.

Myrna Palacios

Myrna Palacios is a former SAID student, having graduated in 2017 and has been working with various agencies since. She has her Associates of Science in American Sign Language Interpreting from Riverside City College as well as Associates of Arts in Math and Science and Associates of Arts in Social Behavior both from Chaffey College. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University San Bernardino.

Myrna is currently working with the SAID program as the Coordinator’s Representative, helping to develop the program further.
