Grateful for what I have, I want a world where social safety isn't a luxury, but a right.Â
Hi, this is my personal homepage! I'm a PhD candidate at NUS Computing, advised by Profs. Min-Yen Kan and Kokil Jaidka. I am a member of Web IR/NLP Group (WING) and SMOL-Project. I'm thankful to NUS CTIC for supporting my doctoral study.Â
Before joining NUS, I was a Research Assistant at LCS2, IIT Delhi, working with Prof. Tanmoy Chakraborty on social computing.
Research: My research interests lie at the intersection of computing and social sciences, focusing on:
Content moderation and online safety, including detecting harmful content, community-driven moderation, and scalable approaches to platform governance.Â
Bias, fairness, and cultural representation in AI systems, with a focus on how language technologies encode and amplify social and political biases.Â
Human-centered AI applications in high-impact domains such as education, mental health, and knowledge work.Â
Computational methods for understanding online communities and digital behavior at scale.Â
I'm always happy to discuss these research areas and explore potential collaborations. Feel free to reach out via email.
