Yarn Arrow ("the game") is a free puzzle game for Android. This page explains what information the game uses and why. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location.
1. Information stored on your device
The game saves your progress (completed levels, stars, patches, daily streak, hints and settings) on your device only. Uninstalling the game deletes this data.
2. Ads
The game is free and shows ads, served through the LevelPlay ad mediation service and its ad partners. To show and measure ads, these services may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, approximate location derived from the IP address, and how you interact with ads. If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks you to choose between personalised and non-personalised ads before any ad is requested. Everywhere else you can change this choice any time under Settings > Ad privacy. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings, and you can remove ads by buying "Remove ads" in the game.
3. Purchases
The optional "Remove ads" purchase is handled by Google Play. We do not receive your payment details. We only learn that the purchase was made so the game can switch ads off.
4. Test reports (optional)
Under Settings you can send a test report. It contains an anonymous random install ID, the game version, your device model, and a log of game events such as levels played, hints used and restarts. It contains no name, email, advertising ID or location. Automatic sending is off unless you turn it on. Reports are stored in a Google Form owned by the developer and are used only to improve the game. To have your reports deleted, contact us with your install ID.
5. Game settings downloaded from the internet
The game may download a small public settings file (for example, how often ads appear). This is an ordinary web request, so the server hosting the file can see your IP address. No information about you is sent with it.
6. Children
Yarn Arrow is not designed for children under 13 and is not directed at them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will help remove it.
7. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the ad services described above, with Google Play for purchases, and as required by law.
8. Your choices and rights
You can change your ad choice in Settings, reset your advertising ID in Android settings, stop test reports, or uninstall the game. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information and to object to personalised advertising. Contact us to make a request.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
