Dhaka, a Southeast Asian city, is one of the densely populated cities growing rapidly in terms of industrialization and population growth. More than ever, as a result of growth all over, the health industry is producing a huge amount of waste and poor guidelines are propelling the hazards of these wastes as a severe problem towards increment. In this research, this issue was addressed and a multi-process reverse logistical network model was designed incorporating sustainability in terms of environmental cost and recyclability. The target of the model is to build a sustainable waste collection and disposal system. To solve this network optimization model, MILP was used to minimize the objective function of cost by optimizing the network parameters. Two different policy of recycling is considered with a timeframe of 5 years. From the result, it was seen that the model with an integrated recycling center in existing waste processing facility is economically more beneficial than the model with no recycling and the model with a dedicated recycling center in the long run.
