E.T. Russian created the hashtag #RAMPSOFDISTINCTION to highlight wheelchair ramps that are not just functional, but beautiful or interesting in some way. They don’t have to be fancy, but something someone took care with. Ramps surrounded by succulents. Ramps strung with lights. Ramps sloping to the shoreline. A sensual pleasure. An experience. Not just a path from point A to B. Once my eye for compelling ramps was opened, they started photographing ramps that caught their attention. This series of risograph prints they created is of ramps they've seen, as well as ramps they imagine.

Ramps are a junction - elegant pathways that connect different levels to each other. Yet, ramps are often an afterthought. Stairs at the center. Ramps on the side. #RAMPSOFDISTINCTION puts ramps front and center.
