All working areas must have:
Ventilation - through flow of air (for infection control and medical gas safety)
Temperature - keeping cool and/or keeping warm - consider dress code, additional heaters, regular breaks, rotations etc
Lighting - day and night time operations, appropriate to the task - consider what do in a power cut in the dark!
Cleanliness - might be our responsibility? Indoor and outdoor, permanent and temporary structure. Consider thee following
Safe waste disposal - clinical waste, sharps, general waste
Equipment and patient care equipment kept clean
Cleanliness for tables, chairs, floors, walls, surfaces
