Non-Mandatory: You can use the core features of Sollie without providing this information, though certain alert methods (like SMS or email notifications) may be limited.
No Secondary Use: We never use your contact information for marketing, advertising, or third-party profiling.
2. Third-Party Infrastructure (Firebase)
We utilize Google Firebase to ensure app stability and secure data routing.
Analytics & Crashes: We collect anonymized usage statistics and crash reports to fix bugs and improve performance.
Data Security: Firebase helps us securely manage the delivery of your optional contact info and location data during emergency triggers.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. Your information is only shared with:
Your Chosen Emergency Contacts: Only when a safety event is triggered by you.
Service Providers: Strictly for the technical delivery of SMS or Email alerts (e.g., Firebase/Twilio).
4. Data Retention and Deletion
You have full control. You can update or remove your optional email and phone number at any time within the app settings. If you delete your account, all associated data will be purged from our active databases.
5. User Consent for Data Processing Related to Refund Requests:
When a user initiates a refund request, our server may receive a notification (CONSUMPTION_REQUEST) from Apple. We provide Apple with subscription-related consumption data only to assist in processing the refund. No personal or sensitive data is shared. By using this app, you consent to this data transmission as required for refund processing.
