Grand Avenue Park Bridge

The Grand Avenue Pedestrian Bridge in Everett, WA, opened to the public in August 2020, a time when most people were confined to their homes. Its original purpose of connecting a neighborhood to the Everett Waterfront over a highway and train tracks also became an immediate draw for those looking for a space to spend time outside. The bridge’s intertwined stairs and ramps create a variety of spaces for looking back at the bluff, down the tracks or to the views of the sunset on the Olympic Peninsula. There are two parts proposed for the exhibit; a site model and a throw barrier mockup.
