Charlotte Amalie High School

Design Achievement - The construction of Charlotte Amalie High School (CAHS) is anticipated to be one of the first three projects implemented as a result of the Educational Facilities Master Plan. The new campus, designed by DLR Group, will support inquiry-based learning with a variety of space types and flexible infrastructure. Academic learning forts will be supplemented by dedicated space for Career and Technical Education in the fields of Cosmetology, Construction, Automotive Repair, Occupational/Physical Therapy, and Nursing. Foundational to the “why” for this important project on St. Croix, the CAHS campus design is based on the guiding principle of nurturing student achievement, organizational culture, and teacher and leader effectiveness. CAHS aspires to be a place that ignites a passion for life-long learning and builds community.
