1854 – Foundation stone was laid for the Sadvidya Anglo-Sanskrit Pathashala by the then Maharaja of Mysore, His Highness Chamaraja Wodeyar. 

1892 – Swami Vivekananda delivered lectures to the Mysoreans for two weeks at the Pathashala from November 9 to 24. 

1972 – The Shathothara celebrations of the Pathashala were held. 

1973 – Sadvidya High School, Narayana Shastry Road, was opened. 

1999 – Sadvidya Composite PU College, Narayana Shastry Road, was started to provide tertiary education. 

2006 – Sadvidya Semi-Residential PU College opened in Vijayanagar. 

2017 – Sadvidya High School started in Vijayanagar.
