From Sado to Niigata, one may take:

*Please make a reservation of car ferry or jetfoil tickets by yourself

On Oct. 3 (Fri), we will meet at 16:00 at Sado-kisen Ryotsu ferry terminal.

Note that it will take about 30 min to get to the Sadokisen terminal if you walk from Niigata station.
You may take a bus (~15 min, 260 JPY) or taxi (~10 min, ~1500 JPY), if you like.

For instance, last year we had an excursion to Sado Gold Mine on the 2nd day, which has been selected as an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site on July 27th, 2024. It has been the 26th world heritage site in Japan.
The popular "split mountain" in the Sado island was part of a huge Gold Mine dug and was made by hand in the Edo period.
