I am an economist with a background in behavioural economics and applied microeconomics. My research addresses policy issues in migration, education, environmental sustainability, and youth mental health.
In 2023, I decided to leave academia. I am now working as the Senior Data Analyst in the Impact and Evaluation team for headspace, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation in Australia. ...and I still get to do some research!
I earned my PhD from the Tinbergen Institute and the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. After that, I held positions at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the University of Queensland (UQ). I am still affiliated with the multi-disciplinary team of the Low Harm Hedonism Initiative at UQ, who work on behaviour change for more environmentally sustainable behaviour.
