Sabina Albrecht

Economist

Welcome to my webpage!

I am an economist with a background in behavioural economics and applied microeconomics. My research addresses policy issues in migration, education, environmental sustainability, and mental health.

About a year ago, I decided to leave academia. I am now working as the Senior Data Analyst in the Impact and Evaluation team for headspace, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation in Australia. And I still get to do some research!

I earned my PhD from the Tinbergen Institute and the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.  After that, I held positions at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the University of Queensland (UQ). I am still affiliated with the multi-disciplinary team of the Low Harm Hedonism Initiative at UQ, who work on behaviour change for more environmentally sustainable behaviour.

On this site, you can find out more about my research and teaching, read my CV, or get in touch.
