Research Interests

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Concordia University's Department of Economics, specializing in Labor Economics and Economics of Education and Human Capital. My academic trajectory underscores a dedication to discipline, a pursuit of knowledge, and a proven record as a reliable team member. 

My educational background encompasses a Master of Arts in Economics from Shahid Beheshti University in Iran and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. Before embarking on my doctoral studies, I gained valuable professional experience as an electrical engineer at Monenco Iran, an engineering consulting firm, and the Niroo Research Institute, a distinguished institution in electrical engineering. 

Proficient in various programming languages, including C++, Fortran, Python, and R, I bring hands-on expertise in utilizing statistical packages such as Stata, MATLAB, and EViews. My skills extend to the comprehensive utilization of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and I possess a keen ability to swiftly adapt to and master new software tools.
