Microbialites Display

2025

Expanding insulation foam, wood bench, plexi, display stand, poster, lace shadows

8 x 8 ft (size variable)

Take a moment to sit amongst the microbialite display, a representation of calceous forms that coat the bottom of the Great Salt Lake today. Nematodes exist in nearly every biome, and thrive even in the earth's most extreme conditions. Those who maintain stasus in the continual upheaval of sex-based social norms might by allegorized by the nematode, now recently discovered to be the creators of the microbialite bumps in the ancient and changing lake.
