Dragon Tsuyoshi:Born in Aichi, Japan. While living in Tokyo, he met the original street poet Tentsuku Man. Inspired by the idea of “living by doing what you love, wherever you love,” he moved to Okinawa. He began as a street poet and later evolved into creating Dragon Art, painting dragons together with powerful words. After seeing him draw dragons, Rendo Sugimoto, the founder of Amagi-ryu Tojiho, started calling him “Dragon,” which eventually led to his name change. He is also active nationwide and internationally as a therapist of Amagi-ryu Tojiho. The fermented hemp fabric he used during treatments gained attention and spread across Japan. After the COVID-19 shock forced him to pause his activities, he was hospitalized with throat cancer. With strong support from many people, including Tentsuku Man, he returned to his work. During Tentsuku Man’s “100 Days, 30 Million Yen Crowdfunding” project, he created many collaborative artworks.
At the suggestion of Rendo Sugimoto, he single-handedly organized the “Tai-Shin-Kon (Body–Mind–Soul)” lecture event featuring Mitsuro Sato, Rendo Sugimoto, and Shinpei Onokoro. A series of fortunate events led to the 520-seat venue selling out one month before the lecture.Today, he works as a multidisciplinary artist, expressing creativity through Dragon Art that nurtures imagination, Amagi-ryu Tojiho therapy that helps people release their true selves, and handcrafted fermented hemp goods designed to support comfort and well-being.
