To provide a secure and functional marketplace for buying and selling livestock, we collect the following information:
Phone Number (OTP Authentication): We collect your mobile phone number to authenticate your identity securely using One-Time Passwords (OTP) during login.
Camera Permission: We request access to your device's camera so you can capture and upload videos or images of the livestock you wish to list.
Microphone Permission: We request access to your microphone to allow you to record optional voice notes or audio descriptions for your animal listings.
Location Data: We request access to your device’s approximate or precise location (using GPS or network coordinates) while you use the app. This is used strictly to calculate and display the distance between buyers and livestock listings, helping you find animals available nearby.
Firebase Backend: All application data, including your user profile details, livestock listings, media paths, and authentication records, are securely stored using Google Firebase services.
We implement standard security measures to ensure your data remains protected against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
The information we collect is used strictly for:
Managing user accounts and securing login via phone OTP.
Displaying your livestock listings (including photos, videos, audio notes, and pricing) to other users within the marketplace.
Enabling communication and transaction features related to the platform.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is only stored securely on Firebase cloud infrastructure to power the core functionalities of the app.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
You can delete your account at any time directly within the app by navigating to your Profile and selecting the Delete Account option.
